Hi, I'm Artist Agnes Rup your Master Resin Coach, a Educator and a Momma.
The morning sun was shinning in and yet I felt so lost, my life has been turned upside down and here I am looking down at my coffee wondering where did I go wrong?
I was divorced, childless and I made the choice to quite my coprate 9-5 job with zero plan. I was 34 years old, my life did not look anything like what I had imaged.
I felt the need to create art to quite my mind, where I could express myself through art. At this time in my life I was able to immersed myself in this new mesmerizing medium called geode resin art. I felt a new excitement I haven't felt in years. I felt proud of the art I was creating, I found a new confidence in myself and could feel my transformative journey was just starting. That lost feeling was dispappearing.
Resin art quickly became my sanctuary, where I found peace and expression. With no job, I felt like a mad scientist, trying new things - what worked what did not? Since all I did was resin, it was my full time job and I was able to learn through exploration quickly.
I started an instagram account where I could share my new found love with the word. My account quickly gained traction, in 6 months I had 10 thousand followers. I couldn't believe my eyes!
Questions started to pour in asking how I made the art. I felt resistence to sharing, I had a fear of speaking even on camera and If I made the choice to share my secrets, then everyone could create my art. But I felt a strong pull to educating, I wanted every women to feel the feelings I felt.
Imagine a place where you feel creatively free, pouring resin from cups to create breath taking art, no paint brush strokes here, just beautiful eye capturing shine and sparkle crusted with real quartz.
Soon my first online workshop was born, and my Dm's filled filled of gratitude, this filled my heart as much as making art. I knew right there that I was meant to get past my fears and empower women into the creative space.
I knew my talent was not only art but teaching.
Now, I stand here, humbled and excited to share all the knowledge and experience I have gathered over the last 7 years with you.
